Kuvaus

NOVOTEST T-D3 käyttää maailman yleisintä menetelmää metallien kovuuden testaamiseen, eli Leeb-menetelmää(ASTM A956).

Tätä niin sanottua dynaamista menetelmää kovuuden määrittämiseksi käytetään laajalti sen käyttöhelppouden vuoksi. Käyttäjän ei tarvitse olla erityistaitoja tai -tietämystä kovuuden mittauksen alalla suorittaakseen mittauksen; mittauksen suorittamiseksi on tarpeen virittää laitteen anturin iskukappale, asentaa anturi testattavalle pinnalle, painaa anturin vapautuspainiketta ja kovuusarvo näkyy laitteen näytöllä.
Tätä menetelmää suositellaan suurille tuotteille, joiden paino on vähintään 5 kg ja paksuus 10 mm tai enemmän. Kuitenkin noudattaen tiettyjä vaatimuksia tuotteen kiinnittämiselle, on mahdollista mitata myös pieniä osia.
